BioGX EU


BioGX offers an expanding menu of reagents* manufactured for use with the BD MAX™ System. Improved clinical outcomes are provided by the BD MAX™ System by combining complete automation of nucleic acid extraction and PCR thermocycling in a single platform. The BD MAX™ System is capable of running both FDA-cleared and open system assays. Flexibility and standardization offered by the BD MAX™ System allows you to address the breadth of your needs. Sample-Ready™ Lyophilized Reagents (composed of 2 separate tubes)

  • Tube 1
    • PCR master mix containing buffers, target specific primers & probes, Sample Processing Control (SPC**) specific primers & probe.
  • Tube 2
    • Rehydration water/buffer adequate to hydrate the contents of one lyophilized Sample-Ready™ reagent tube.

BioGX Reagent Packaging Format

  • Each box contains 2 pouches sufficient for 24 reactions
  • First pouch contains Lyophilized Sample-Ready™ reagents
  • Second pouch contains equal quantity of rehydration water/buffer

Versatility of sample analysis

One tube from each pouch is used per BD DNA extraction strip with the exception of dual master mix BD TNA extraction strip, which uses one rehydration water/buffer tube and 2 lyophilized Sample-Ready reagent tubes – this configuration allows for detection of up to 8 targets per sample! BD MAX™ Open System Reagents DNA/RNA extraction strip has open positions to accept the 2 tubes as “snap-in”.
